Promised Neverland Season 2: The changes from Manga

Are the changes in the second season of Promised Neverland ruining it?

The anime adaptaion of famous manga 'Promised Neverland' was massively successful thanks to the first season which was absolutely amazing. The first season ended with Emma, Ray and other kids escaping the farm without altering the original story from the manga. However the second season has made huge changes. The production team may have changed the story to complete the anime faster.

The anime fan may not be affected by the changes but those who went through manga (including me) might not like the changes. The reunion between Emma, Ray and Norman was completely different than the manga. The exclusion of 'Mister' from the shelter was quite shocking.

Furthermore, it seems the anime is going to skip the 'Goldy Pond Arc' completely which is a fan favorite arc. If the goldy pond arc is skipped half of the thrill is gone. Emma and ray using the guns, the action and thrill everything is missed. I hope the production team have only altered the storytelling but not the arc itself. But the new season with changes seems so boring to me who has already read manga.
