The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal is officially announced to be starring as Joel in The Last Of Us series of HBO. Having previously played major roles in Game of Thrones and Narcos now he along with his Game of Thrones compatriot Bella Ramsey is set to star in The Last Of Us. Bella Ramsey is set to play the role of Ellie.

Pedro Pascal has gained quite a name from his roles as Prince Oberin in Game of thrones, Mando in the Mandalorian and Javier Pena in Narcos. He has been a fan favourite character so we can understand why HBO chose him for the role. The video game adaptation for TV series has not been quite successful in the recent years. But the Netflix series witcher was blockbuster.
The series is the next video game adaptation along with official movie of Uncharted which is set to be played by Tom Holland. The HBO series is set to be released in 2021 at the earliest.
